Have I mentioned that Buck is my room mate? Well, he suggested to me one day that I should wear a watch. He himself is a devoted watch enthusiast. So this marked my long planned watch shopping. I went to Alamanda's City Chain but was disappointed by the lack of collections they have there. One day, I invited few friends including Buck to my house for Raya. whilst waiting for me to dash home, they looked around in the IOI mall. Buck said that he had seen a watch so suitable for me in the City Chain there. I said to him that we should go together one day to pick it up.

After about a month, the long awaited 'One Day' finally arrives. I happened to get my bro's car after 'patah kaki' since Ramadhan. I promised to send Buck to Tasik Selatan LRT station after we go see the watch. Then, Sid and Papa wanted to follow.

Papa and Sid then told us how they long to eat Subways since Ramadhan. IOI happened to have Subway outlet. We ate, look for the right watch for me and went to pray and at the end of the trip.. Tadaa! I got my new watch.


This is not the one that Buck showed me that i eventually hated. This Everlast watch only costed RM 134.70 after 70% less. The original price was RM449.00

I adore this so damn much. It got the world time function and its soo beautiful. Most importantly, the pricetag was something I simply can't ignore.

fossil - my great regret

I've been using the Polo wallet bought from Parkson ever since i was in form 2. It gave me no problem at all just until early this year although it only costed RM29.90.

Then I think its time for a new wallet. A fresh, new, up-to-date designed one. I consulted few friends about what type and sort of price range should i look for. Many gave their suggestions but most told me to pick my next wallet carefully as wallets are not something we buy often. I always think that price plays a major role in determining quality. So, I targeted my next wallet should be around RM 150++. It didn't.. seriously it didn't hit me that that is too expensive. I thought that is the right price for quality wallets.

I have searched for Topman wallets on the internet before but it gave me UK prices, so, that is out of discussion for me. I have also entered Topman to look for their wallets. But I found none. Maybe its not there or maybe I didn't found it.

So one day in May I think, I went to Pyramid to shop with my family. In desperation to find a 'quality wallet' I entered Fossil boutique. A brand rather well known for watched and leather goods. I looked at the wallets section, carefully chose 1 that I like the most, took it and pay. I did look at the price, RM199.99 but as I have mentioned earlier, I thought it was okay. Strangely enough, the salesperson just took the wallet, put it into a plastic and put the wallet-contained-plastic into a fit-to-size paperbag. I was a bit stunned. No box? warranty card? Being a slowthinker, I walked out of the shop without demanding what I should have.

I showed it to my parents, they were not happy with the price. I showed it to my friends, they think that it was overpriced.

I like the wallet. But after three months use, it started to show me its undesirable characteristics.

oops! what should I do?

I got myself into Topman again and I found wallets. RM49.90. Then i feel like shit. I can buy 4 Topman wallets with this shitty Fossil.

Now, I'm searching for the receipt. I've searched every place I place I know that might house receipts. Nothing came out of it. Maybe its in the office. I'll search tomorrow. But I had to finish my assignments first!

mak ak suruh ak g bli baju melayu haritu. die ckp kat mydin lawa2. ak ckp kat mak ak, baju raye mydin not my class okay. mak ak ckp bukan dalam mydin la. kat boutique kat luar mydin tu. ak dengan penuh reluctantnye suatu hari pegi laa jgak ngan mak ak. butik tu namenye 'ada gaya'. mak ak g tempat lain dulu. ak trus menuju kedai tu. sembang ngan tokey die. org kelantan. makcik tu ckp. dik, baju2 kedai akak ni artis2 tempah tau. ak pikir dalam hati. yoyo-o kak ni.. so ak tgk2 je la around kedai tu mane tau ade yang terberkenan..

so ak nampak satu baju ni. menarik. kaler die ak x penah nampak. akak tu ckp ni design baru dik. kale ijau ngan very fine black lines. ade gak kale2 lain tp ak berkenan ijau tu. tapi lubang butang die pelik sket. memule ak cm mencemuh dalam hati. ape punye design tah. tapi skali lg akak tu xplain. daripada feedback yang kami dapat dari customer, diorg ckp dah boring ngan design butang lame. jadi kami design cara baru. ni susah orang nak tiru ni. *chuckles*.

ak pon mencuba la baju tu. size M. mmg ok ngan ak. komfem ak nak angkat yang ni. mak ak pon tiba, malas nak buang mase mak ak, ak trus btau yg ak nak yang ni jugak. despite tentangan yang hebat dari mak ak tu. bla..bla..bla.. pilih sampin yang secocok bla..bla..bla.. balik umah.

pada jumaatnye, ak g solat jumaat kat kolej ak. ak dtg awal sikit. coz xde bende nak wat kat bilik bulan2 posa ni. buck awal2 dah balik. nak sembang pon xde teman. ak jarang datang awal solat jumaat. datang mesti khutbah dah stat. telur ayam pon x dapat. tp dis time ak datang, xde org lg. so ak leh pilih tempat. huhuhu.. ak dok kat line 2nd dr blakang. slow2 jemaah mula memenuhi surau. tiba2...

ade sorang mamat ni datang dari belakang and terus duduk betul2 depan ak. yang paling horror, die pakai baju melayu kale same ngan yang ak bli tu.. ak ckp dalam ati of all places to sit, knape depan ak??? apakah yang Allah ingin tunjukkan? adekah ini dosa menentang pilihan ibu? lagi horror, design kain yang ak slame ni anggap baru tu dah dipakai orang untuk g solat jumaat je.. tah2 tu baju raye die 2-3 taun lepas.

bilal qamat, sume berdiri, rapatkan saff kedepan dan ak bersolat disebelah mamat tadi dalam keadaan tidak khusyuk dan muka sungguh mencuka.
